Club Updates – September 2024

Hello Artisans League members

Fall is almost here ( temperatures are now below 98 – it is getting cold here!!)
We are looking forward to seeing many of you back soon…

Summer has been a busy one! — A couple of quick updates:

• Creative Arts Group has merged into The Artisans League —
  This means that there is only one “official” Art Club at Trilogy in Vistancia
  Calendars and activities are now live on the calendar section of the site.
• Artisans Studio at Mita updates:
  • Six old easels have been replace with brand new ones ( easier to handle and move)
  • Survey of chairs, tables and sound needs was completed and have been communicated to HOA committee 
  • 2024 Fall ArtWalk ( November 9 & 10 )
    • Publicity / Promotion activities have been initiated! 
    • Remember this time: the common area will be at the Kiva Ballroom ( 27 spaces will be available)
    •  Call-to-Artist with details will be sent next week ( participation guidelines on the Art Walks page on our site)
• Featured artists
  • Trilogy Living at Vistancia Magazine featured artists ( check here )
    • Betty Scharfman in the September and Geneivieve Hanna in August Issues
  • New Featured Artist on our website: Bradley Gubin – TV Show Maps!
• It is good to see the new postings in the  Community Talk section of the website Thanks!  

And to close the update,  the Club calendar on the website has been updated, and October is HAPPENING!:

• Joye Melby will be back teaching classes starting in October!
• We welcome back Becky Joy for another great oil painting class: “Making Your Paintings Glow”
• Come by for “Create, Mingle, and get Inspired” will be hosted by Jennifer Hastings
• Deb Nielson returns for “Beginning watercolor”
• Suzie Colb will be Teaching a “Mixed Craft Workshop”
• Pop up Meeting coming up!
• Membership Meeting: October 28

Very thankful to all of the board and committee volunteers working to make the 2024-25 season a success. As ALWAYS – If you have any ideas, suggestions please let us know!   This is YOUR CLUB  so let us know!
