INTRODUCTION TO WATERCOLOR PAINTING WITH LIZ BRYANT VICCARS

Watercolor kits available for an additional $20. Please let instructor know if you wish to purchase your own kit. Otherwise, paint, Brushes and paper are provided.

Skill Level: Beginner. Previous artistic ability /experience not required.

ABOUT THE INSTRUCTOR: Liz Bryant Viccars is a Canadian business owner, jewelry designer and children’s book author. Her admiration of watercolor turned into a passion. Watercolor painting doesn’t require a lot of space to store materials or to practice. Even a little bit of knowledge can create something beautiful.

Use this beautiful medium to create a small picture, bookmark and greeting card all while learning how to let the paint, brushes and water create magic.

Sunday January 21: 1-4: LEARN THE BASICS ABOUT THE PAINT, BRUSHES,PAPER AND PLAY WITH DIFFERENT PAINT CONSISTENCIES. ADD A FEW BASIC TECHNIQUES LIKE PAINTING WET ON WET AND WET ON DRY. APPLY WHAT YOU HAVE LEARNED TO A SMALL PICTURE.

Sunday January 28:  1-4: ADD MORE TOOLS FROM EVERYDAY ITEMS LIKE TABLE SALT AND PLASTIC WRAP. USE THESE FUN TECHNIQUES FOR BIG RESULTS AND PULL IT ALL TOGETHER . CREATE QUICK AND EASY BOOKMARKS AND GREETING CARDS.
