David Flitner is a local professional artist who has shown his oil landscape paintings in Arizona’s fine art galleries for over 30 years. As an early admirer of Arizona’s unique scenery, David became a founding member of the Central Arizona Backpackers Association. His experience in hiking the outback gave David a lifelong passion to paint the beauty of our southwest lands.

David Flitner is a local art instructor at the renowned Scottsdale Artists’ School and also serves on the critique team of the Scottsdale Artists’ League. He is a member of Oil Painters of America. David’s background includes study at the University of Arizona and the Art Center College of Design in Pasadena, California. David’s artwork has been represented in fine galleries in Arizona, Santa Fe, Aspen, Jackson Hole, and Monterey.
