This class is a step by step tutorial using acrylic paints on an 8×10 inch canvas board.
Attention is given to mixing paint colors, using the right brush and other items including a
sponge, credit card/palette knife. Direction on use of light and shadow, perspective and
composition are also included in the process.
My goal is to encourage creative expression and success with demonstration of brush strokes,
starting with the background, then the mid-ground and then the foreground and details.
This class is designed for those who have never painted and/or beginners who want to improve
their skills.
The minimum number of students is 7 and the maximum is 20.
The cost of the class is $30, or $40.00 if you are not a club member, this includes all materials; canvas, brushes, sponge, palette knife,
paint, palette, water cup, paper towel, painting example, and step by step directions.
Participants are encouraged to bring an apron, or large shirt to cover their clothing.
Payment is required prior to class to reserve your seat. I accept personal checks and Zelle.

You are welcome to bring your own brushes or other items if you choose however, this will not
alter the cost of the class. I provide all materials to complete the class.
