ART WALK REQUIREMENTS / GUIDELINES FOR PARTICIPATION

All artists must meet the following standards to participate in and receive The Artisans League at Trilogy in Vistancia sponsorship for the community Art Walks.

  1. All participants in the show must be members of The Artisans League, with current dues having been paid. If you are just now joining The Artisans League, or need to renew your membership, go to http://theartisansleague.com and follow the instructions there to pay dues. Please do not begin the registration process without having paid dues. If you need assistance with this, please contact us via contact form
  2. All items in the show shall be original creations made by the participant.
    • Artists must offer exclusive work, both conceived and created by the artist alone.
    •  If offering an art form using an existing item to a significant degree, that item must be embellished or enhanced with original work and in such a manner as to render it uniquely different from its original form.
  3. Participants may not display other artist’s work, nor promote or sponsor anyone else at that time. This includes anyone the participating artist may have collaborated with.
    • No showing of other people’s work, like friends or relatives who do not live in Trilogy or are not members of the Artisans League Club
  4. ABSOUTELY NO re-selling retail items unless significant creative changes have been made to it.
  5. If you are displaying at home, you must have an official Artist Home Sign in front of your home.
  6. The estimate cost for artists to participate in this event is (Note: cost may change based on number of registered participants):
    • $25.00 if you have already the standard brand Artist Home sign from last spring, or
    • $60.00 which includes the $25.00 registration and the $35.00 cost for the sign if you do not have one already. (You can reuse the sign in future Art Walks!)
  7. Participating artist that select to display at their home, can present their art in the best way they see fit.
  8. Participating artists that select the share location will be assigned a 10×10 area and provided with a 6-foot table to display their art in the best way they see fit.
  9. Participating artists may present their works at other artists homes locations. In fact, it is encouraged in order to maximize the guest experience.

The Process:

Approximately 6 weeks before each show, The Artisans League will send out a Call to Artists to current members. The Open Call will be closed 3 weeks before the show, and all dues need to be paid for consideration. Update communications will be sent with updates during the time leading to the date of the event. Many details will be shared with registered participants.
