I began making jewelry when I brought Rakhi bracelets back from India. They are mainly made with silk thread and I was asked by friends “how would you tie it on yourself?” I then explored the thought of adding beads and didn’t know how to proceed. I left the idea to pursue my coaching practice. The lid saying goes: when the student is ready, the teacher appears” and I met Jacqui Taubman, now a former Trilogy resident who taught me how to bead and then how to crochet with wire. I took classes and then displayed my work at the Trilogy Art show (not sure of the date-maybe 2013) and other venues.
I view jewelry as an art form and love to create new designs for the wearing of jewelry.
