We have space assignments ! — THANK YOU Cappy and Mike!

PLEASE READ THE RULES sent on the previous email (see below)
You will notice TWO open spots: Randi Levine and Mike Gebhart will not be able to attend the show because of unexpected personal matters.
We are arranging for covering Mike’s activities
Mike WILL NOT be there to help you. so bring help.
Cappy will be there on Saturday morning to answer questions. We are hoping Doug will be there on Saturday morning as well. (pending confirmation)
Need someone from the group to help take lunch orders and take them to the kitchen, (it is a matter of a list with your order and lot number) before 10:30am if no one volunteers you are on your own!

2024-FALL Art Walk Participants Home Page
A few of you have asked for more details on the Kiva Ballroom preparations and arrangements
Just a quick note to let you know some of what we know so far:
- — Doors locked Saturday night
- — All 6′ tables and covers to be supplied by Lifestyle Team
(you can bring your own cover and small table) - — Doors to open as early as 7:30 both days for setup
- — 2 chairs also provided
- — NO easels will be provided, as was done at Mita
- — Nothing can be attached to walls
- — Assigned spaces will be taped (approx: 10×10) and numbered
- — List of assigned space will be sent a week before the event
- — A volunteer will be taking advanced lunch orders early on Saturday / Sunday morning
The idea is to bring your own support team to help you setup but WE NEED A COUPLE OF VOLUNTEERS to help out others as well!
We will be at the Artisans Studio this afternoon after the general meeting if you have questions!

A quick message to let you know we have completed the printing of the 900 11×17 version of the maps! — If I may say so, I think the collaboration this time around helped produce a FANTASTIC Map — thanks to everyone that contributed and made suggestions!
- You will find *everything* related to the event (including print at home version of the map) at 2024-FALL Art Walk Participants Home Page
- for the 25 of you AT HOME ARTISTS there is a package for you containing 10 maps and 1 QR CODE SIGN
They are waiting for you to pick up at Lynda Zimmer’s house: 28047 N. 130th Drive - Remaining distribution of maps follows (November 1st):
- 250 Maps + 1xQRCODE SIGN for KIVA CLUB DESK
- 250 Maps + 1xQRCODE SIGN for for MITA CLUB DESK
- 150 will be available on Saturday for KIVA BALLROOM
- Website page will auto-change November 1 to show map download / and participant list. Use / share this page: 2024 FALL ArtWalk at Trilogy
- For those of you who ordered HOME ARTISTS SIGNS and Directional signs they will be arriving November 7

T-minus 13 DAYS (2 weeks!) to the Show – How are YOUR PREPARATIONS GOING?
Lots happening behind the scenes!! – MANY people / lots of effort working hard to have a successful show!
**Lots of info packed here, but one important map-related info at the bottom of this email ( it was intentionally placed there so you go through the entire email — Call me evil 🙂
- HUB for Participants Event:
- When you login to the website, everyone in this distribution list should see a green banner for the Artwalk on the Members Home Page.
- You will find *everything* related to the event participation here! 2024 FALL ArtWalk Participants – The Artisans League
- Use the Community TALK Forum (ARTWalk Participants Topic) on our site to post questions/ want to post tips for other artists!!
- Advertisement and Promotions
- Public Media Kit has been published
- Promotion is if full swing –My Trilogy Life posting will begin this week, Next Door has began, Lifestyle newsletter and many other promos
- Email to past members and friends and mailing list will be mailed this week
- Happy Hour and Friday Coffee volunteers are lined up (thank YOU!)
(NO FLYERS to hand out THIS TIME AROUND! We just need YOU to tell people )
we will use small posters with barcodes instead / Also we hope to have a table at the side.
- Marketing / PROMOTE / Spread the WORD!!!!
- PLEASE START YOUR OWN SOCIAL MEDIA and EMAIL CAMPAIGNS THIS WEEK!

- Start to tell everyone how excited you are about the Artwalk!

- PLEASE START YOUR OWN SOCIAL MEDIA and EMAIL CAMPAIGNS THIS WEEK!
- Artists Home Signs:
- Orders will be placed on Tuesday – You will be communicated where to pick up.
- Branded Directional Signs: (Directional Signs)
- They will not be required for this show!!
(Note that we are likely to require them on the next SPRING ArtWalk.) - Having said this, THEY ARE available and are encouraged!
- Although the idea was to allow you to print yourself, a few folks ask me to help with this. I did this for myself last event as a test and ordered 8×11 laminated ones with the thought of reuse them for the next few years. They held up perfectly! (you still have to put it on a stick or holder)!
- I can easily order directional signs for you, so If you need / want some just reply to this email and tell me which SIGN and how many of each you need!:
- LEFT SIGN
- RIGHT SIGN
- STRAIGHT AHEAD SIGN
- Price: No Charge for the first 2. ($2.50 per laminated sign after the first 2)
- They will not be required for this show!!
- Rules Reminder:
- The ART / CRAFT *must* be created by YOU —
PLEASE no reselling of goods, arts, crafts or goodies is allowed! - Days / Hours of operation:
- If you are at Kiva Ballroom You MUST be at the booth from 9-3pm BOTH days.
- If you are at your house, you can be more flexible, but please let us know so we can make a note in the directory!
- The ART / CRAFT *must* be created by YOU —
- When will Maps be available?
- Maps will be available online on the website about 5 days before the event. PEOPLE can print the maps at home.
- The printed maps will be distributed to the KIVA CLUB AND MITA CLUB about 3 days BEFORE the event.

NOW FOR THE IMPORTANT THING I MENTIONED:
MAP DRAFT IS COMPLETED – PLEASE CHECK YOUR INFORMATION: LOCATION, NAME, MEDIA and PLACEMENT OF PIN ON THE MAP!
There has been a couple of us working on this, it has gone through 3 revisions so far BUT just in case,

We are sending this because you offered up to help with the ArtWalk map proofing before it is published. — As some of you know, this is a significant effort ( labor of love) and there were some last minute location changes, so I want to make sure it gets a second and third set of eyes, so THANK YOU IN ADVANCE for your help!
Attached is the PDF version of the document.
The plan is for it to be printed on a single 11×17 and then folded in half to create a 4 page booklet
Lynda and I have checked it more than a couple of times, but if you can – would you please check it for me again- Looking to make sure that:
1) Significant issues with pin location are good based on the addresses.
2) General feel and presentation ( this time we are making the map BIG 2 pages!)
3) Spell checking
4) Other ideas/ suggestions
The plan is to send it to printer on Wednesday next week.
PLEASE DO NOT forward or share it YET as it is a draft.

We have created the 2024 Fall ArtWalk Participants HOME Page on the site as the internal informational center for all participant

IMPORTANT – PLEASE CHECK THAT ALL YOUR INFORMATION IS GOOD or let me know if you need changes!

- We have a record 13 First Timer ArtWalk Participants!- look them up in the list and please say hi!
A couple of things to note:
- First-time ArtWalk participants have been sent a specific email with mentor support ( Thank you Shan & Joy for helping on this one!)
- Event promotion on the way – over 600 hits on next door – PR and articles on several local magazines and newsletters on deck ( Thank you Lynda!)
- Everyone that registered to participate in the Kiva Ballroom has a spot! You are good!
- There will be a special communication for you on the space / rules for this space.
- Michael Gebhardt will be able to help again for this event!
- Spaces will be approximately 10×10 and there will be a 6 foot table and chair assigned to each space
- Facility (Tewa room) will open at 7:30a on Saturday
- Facility will be locked down after 3pm and items can stay there ( no need to break down)
- Facility will open on Sunday at 8am for the artist to prepare.
- There is an event at Tewa after 3pm so break down will need to be quick.
- We need a couple more volunteers on Saturday 7:30a and Sunday 3p to help artists setup and breakdown
- If you need to, You can bring your own
- small table as long as it fits on the space assigned
- tablecloth for the tables
- There WILL NOT BE a mandatory meeting this time around.
- Let’s use our Community Talk Forum if you have any questions or want to share stories / ideas / photos / best practices ANYTHING!
- We plan to stay after the General Meeting on Monday October 28 to answer any questions.
- For those who order ARTIST HOME signs, we plan to place the order next week and expect to have them available a couple of days before the event. You will be informed via separate email
- PLEASE REMEMBER THE RULES of the show ( as listed here )
- All items in the show shall be original creations made by the participant.
- Artists must offer exclusive work, both conceived and created by the artist alone.
- If offering an art form using an existing item to a significant degree, that item must be embellished or enhanced with original work and in such a manner as to render it uniquely different from its original form.
- Participants may not display other artist’s work, nor promote or sponsor anyone else at that time. This includes anyone the participating artist may have collaborated with
- No showing of other people’s work, like friends or relatives who do not live in Trilogy or are not members of the Artisans League Club
- ABSOLUTELY No re-selling of retail items.
- If you are displaying at home, you *must* use the official “Artist Home Site” sign in front of your home.
- All items in the show shall be original creations made by the participant.

We are just 6 weeks away from our next event! (Time is moving fast again this year! )
The 2024 FALL ArtWalk is scheduled for November 9 & 10, 2024

2024 FALL ART WALK Call for Artists REGISTRATION FORM
The cost for artists to participate in this event is:
- $25.00 if you have already the standard brand Artist Home sign from last spring, or
- $60.00 which includes the $25.00 registration and the $35.00 cost for the sign if you do not have one already. (You can reuse the sign in future Art Walks!)
If you are receiving this directly, you are a current member. If you have been forwarded this communication, you must be a member and have paid the 2024 club member fees (Login to the site and it will tell you if you are a current active member!)
Registration will close at noon on October 13, 2024 (No Exceptions!), but the sooner you register the better!
For the 2024 FALL ArtWalk, individual or group of artists will be able to exhibit their art at home, garage, courtyard OR at the Kiva Ballroom. For those who select the Kiva Ballroom option there will be NO NEED to take down the setup in this venue this year! Please note that, if we receive more artists request than we have available spaces, a raffle for the limited space will be held.
Feel free to pass this forward to other Trilogy residents you may know that would be interested in participating. The more people participating the better.
